Behind the Mark

MARK of the BRAND [MoB] is the creative vision of Christopher Molitor, a graphic designer born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, where he lives with his wife and two kids. From an early age, Christopher loved sketching everything from superhero action scenes to the serene landscapes of the Cascade Mountains.

Each drawing was an exploration, an opportunity to create something new—an approach that continues to shape his design philosophy today. Every MoB project begins with this same exploratory mindset. Since 2007, Christopher has been collaborating with businesses to help them stand out through strategic design decisions.

Starting with a conversation, Christopher explores the business background, goals, vision, and competitive landscape then performs a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) to establish a strategic foundation. From there, concept exploration unfolds through sketching and ideation.

Once a direction is defined, collaborative feedback refines the work, ensuring every detail aligns with the brand’s unique character and spirit. The result? A polished, distinctive visual identity that truly represents those who entrust MoB with their brand.
